We recently sent a survey to you via the U.S. Postal Service. Hopefully, you have received it and returned it to Lynn Topel. If so, thank you for your prompt response.
If not, your forwarded mail might not have been received, you might have set it aside and forgot to return it or, maybe, you needed a bird cage liner, whatever the reason, we are attaching it to this message.
Frank Zarcone, our webmaster, has arranged for you to complete it on line and to return it electronically to Lynn,
Your input is important and we would like to hear from you.
Your Board of Directors
I have set it up so you can use either of two formats:
First will be in a PDF format, if you have Adobe Acrobat Reader DC you will be able to download the file, fill it in the info and E-mail it to Lyn. If you have an older version of Reader you will need a printer with a scanner. Down load the PDF file, print the file then fill in the information, scan it back to your computer to a file then E-mail that file to Lynn Topel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Second will be in a MS Word format, you will down load the Word file to you computer, fill in the information on your computer, save the file, then e-mail the file to Lynn Topel at email@example.com.
If you have any questions, please call me at 610-585-2016, I will be happy to help you.
Last Wednesday, we in Devonshire, took time out to “pause for the pledge”. A little way to check on our neighbors and, more importantly, to demonstrate our appreciation for all who are going above and beyond to keep us safe and healthy.
The idea has resonated not only here in Devonshire but elsewhere in other Kings Ridge neighborhoods. Information has been shared about our exercise with others.
Devonshire will continue the activity again this coming Wednesday. Hopefully, more of our neighbors will join in. As we did last Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. we ask that you come outside, greet your neighbors and recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. If you don’t have a flag, join your neighbor who has one and share the experience with them. Of course, please maintain “social distancing” of at least 6 feet apart from one another.
We have been requested by many to continue this practice every Wednesday while we endure this Corona virus pandemic.
DEVONSHIRE’S PAUSE FOR THE PLEDGE
In this current disturbing time of fighting the Corona Virus, a suggestion has come from our neighbor,
Gail Domenico, on Kingswood Ct.
Since we are in a mode of self-distancing to help in the prevention of spreading this disease, why not demonstrate our support for all of the efforts being put forth to eradicate this deadly virus.
Her suggestion is to take a moment out of our day and come outdoors to recite the pledge of allegiance to our flag. This will serve several purposes: It will let your neighbor know that you are OK. It will also be a way to say to our first responders, our doctors and nurses, all of the workers who continue to provide services and our civic leaders that we appreciate all that they are doing.
To get started, we ask that all residences who have them to display their American flag. On Wednesday, March 25th at 10:30 am, come outside and recite the pledge. No flag? Walk to a neighbor’s house who has one and join them in the pledge.
She suggested that we can continue this every Wednesday, at the same time, until we know that we are free to move about and enjoy all of the things Devonshire, Kings Ridge and Florida has to offer.
PAUSE FOR THE PLEDGE
GOD BLESS THE USA
UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
Because of the ongoing threat from the Coronavirus (Covid 19) and the recent closure of the Kings Ridge clubhouse, it is necessary for us to postpone our Devonshire Annual Members Meeting until further notice.
The meeting and election of two Board of Directors will be rescheduled when it becomes more clear that this threat has subsided, meeting space is available and it is safe for our residents.
Appropriate notice will be provided when this becomes available.
As a final note, during this time when we are being asked to isolate ourselves, don’t forget your neighbors who may need some assistance. Devonshire is a community of neighbors.
