Devonshire Annual Meeting

March 16, 2021

Our annual meeting of residents is coming up next month on March 16, 2021. This is a meeting where all of the residents have a voice in the future direction of Devonshire. The meeting is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. in the Kings Ridge Clubhouse.

The major purpose of this meeting is to elect members of the Board of Directors. So that there is continuity on the board, elections are staggered. One year, two members are elected, the next year one member is chosen and the third year the remaining two members are elected by the residents. This year, one position is to be filled. That position is currently held by Paul Hannon.

If you have an interest in participating in board activity, please contact our Property Manager, Claire Carney at 352-243-4595 or by email at ccarney@sentrymgt.com

Painting Devonshire

Attention Homeowners 01/29/2021

Starting on February 1st , the house painting program starts at Turnbridge Circle and comes up the odd house number side of Kingswood Court.

The schedule calls for 10 homes to be painted every week until we finish. As we announced, if you have no plans to change your house color you do not need to do anything. Your home will be painted the corresponding color listed in the revised paint book.

If, however, you do plan to change your color, you need to do this before the new deadline of February 15th. No revisions can be made after this date. It will be assumed you want the color you have.

The paint book is available to preview the approved color schemes. Our chairman, Ron Wetmore at 2625 Kingswood Ct, can make it available for your consideration. Please call him at 352-708-6623 or his cell phone at 978-758-1809.

You will receive a notice one week before with the date your house will be painted. The notice will be placed in the small box under your regular mailbox,

Below is a sample of the notice you will receive:

                                                  Homeowners - Painting Responsibilities

                                                             Start Date –  _____________

1.    Homes will be pressure washed and sealed on this day and the painting of Front Doors will occur on  _________ between 9:00 am and 11:am.  The door must be open. This is the only time you need to be home during the painting process. After the doors are painted, the painters will replace weather-strip. Back screen deck doors must be unlocked if you want the walls painted.

2.    Owner must remove all ornaments attached to the house exterior; hose racks can stay but hoses need to be taken off.

3.    If you have a screen house in the back, or your lanai is screened you must move all furniture to the rear area away from the painted area and leave the screen door open, Glassed in Lanai’s will not be painted.

If you have any questions, you can  call Ron at 352-708-6623 or

His cell at 978-758-1809.

  • Golf      Course request
    • Trees near the course, on the course, near a property line to  keep them inform and requires a sign-off from the course.
    • Planting of any kind in mulch areas on the course. Need an application and approval of the NARC,  ACC and FIRST the golf course  managers.

  • Concerns  of golf Course
    • Several tree contractors and residents in past years have driven on the course with approval. So, reach out to Austin and Ben on each tree  request near the property line, since Plat Plans can be off from time to time.
    •
      •     Residents driving on the course, only allowed in golf carts,  while playing golf or with the permission of the pro shop when doing neighborhood reviews. Yet keep in mind with permission, do not to  interfere with golfers playing golf, keep a distance to not interfere  with play.

      •     Note damage if any, is the responsibility of the homeowner,  requiring                         improvements and will be determined by the golf course not KR.

PAUSE FOR THE PLEDGE……. LET’S DO IT AGAIN ……AND AGAIN

Last Wednesday, we in Devonshire, took time out to “pause for the pledge”. A little way to check on our neighbors and, more importantly, to demonstrate our appreciation for all who are going above and beyond to keep us safe and healthy.

The idea has resonated not only here in Devonshire but elsewhere in other Kings Ridge neighborhoods. Information has been shared about our exercise with others.

Devonshire will continue the activity again this coming Wednesday. Hopefully, more of our neighbors will join in. As we did last Wednesday, at 10:30 a.m. we ask that you come outside, greet your neighbors and recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. If you don’t have a flag, join your neighbor who has one and share the experience with them. Of course, please maintain “social distancing” of at least 6 feet apart from one another.

We have been requested by many to continue this practice every Wednesday while we endure this Corona virus pandemic.

Don’t Forget:

                                                         DEVONSHIRE’S PAUSE FOR THE PLEDGE

                                                                                    WEDNESDAYS

                                                                                         10:30 a.m.
